Name, email, company, role, password hashes, and preferences.

Billing
Billing contact, address, tax identifiers, and limited payment details handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.

Usage & Logs
IP address, device and browser information, timestamps, pages and API endpoints accessed, telemetry, and diagnostic data.

Support & Communications
Messages, tickets, feedback, and related metadata.

Cookies & Analytics
Cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and analytics.

Operational Data
Gas pipeline data sourced from public pipeline websites. This operational data generally does not contain personal information.

3. Sources of Information

We collect information directly from you (e.g., account registration, support), automatically through your use of the Services (e.g., logs and cookies), and from service providers (e.g., payments, analytics).

4. How We Use Personal Information

We do not sell personal information.

We may process personal information in Canada and the United States. Where applicable, we use contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the jurisdiction. If we later serve the EU/UK, we will implement GDPR/UK-GDPR transfer mechanisms and update this Policy.

We retain personal information for the duration of your account and as necessary for security, logs, backups, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. Defaults: account and billing records for the life of the account plus 24 months; application logs for 12 months. Retention periods may be adjusted to meet legal requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, including British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), Canada's PIPEDA, and relevant U.S. state privacy laws, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or request portability of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. 10. Cookies and Tracking

We use session cookies that are essential for the login system to function. These are first-party cookies required to use the platform. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and any cookie preferences tool we provide. Essential cookies cannot be disabled while using the service. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. If you sign in with Google, Google may set its own cookies governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

11. Children

The Services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, please contact us at dvs.wafl@gmail.com to request deletion.

Google Sign-In
If you choose to sign in with Google, your use of Google Sign-In is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We only receive the information necessary to create your account (name and email).

Stripe
Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. Their privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data. See stripe.com/privacy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Services or email. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
